Lemon essential oil (leafs)

  • Latin name : Citrus limonum

  • Distilled part : Leafs

  • Origin : Highlands (center of Madagascar)

Properties

  • Antiseptic

  • Tonic 

  • Astringent

  • Anti-inflammatory

Indications

  • Digestive problems

  • Nervostity

  • Eczema and dermatitis

  • Arthritis, tendonitis

  • Depuration of liver, kidney, blood

  • ​Improvement of immune defenses

How to use it?

  • External dosage: 1 to 2 drops of essential oil of lemon leaf diluted in carrier oil in vertebral massage and plexus, 1 to 3 times a day.
     

  • To clean the air In atmospheric diffusion: Put few drops on the diffuser. Diffuse in a range of up to 30 minutes to keep mosquitoes away.

Precautions

  • Seek medical advice for people with epilepsy: risk of high-dose epilepsy.

  • Do not expose to the sun after skin application (risk of burns, redness)

  • Lemon essential oil can be used pure, orally, in case of digestive disorders.

  • Lemon essential oil can be used in atmospheric diffusion for babies.
